About our Club
Fun, Friendship, and Freedom!
Welcome to the GFWC Woman's Club of West Deptford! We are a warm, caring, and sharing group of women that have come together for community service while
having fun, making friends, and experiencing freedom to be ourselves.
We meet once a month on the second Tuesday (except July and August), usually at the West Deptford Public Library, but occasionally in someone's home.
Here are just a few examples of our many community services and events:
Annual fundraiser for one or two high school scholarships.
Donation of books and money to West Deptford Library.
Sending a high school junior girl to Girls Career Institute for a mini college experience.
Conservation projects for recycling and beautification.
Occasional craft, movie, and bingo nights for fun.
We are part of the GFWC, (General Federation of Woman’s Clubs), and the Garden District of NJSFWC, (New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs). We are open to any woman who is interested and would like to join. Why not try us? Come to our next meeting and see what we're all about. Just contact us and someone will call you with the details of our next meeting.
See you soon!
